Case Study: Vacation Mode – Investing on Autopilot
Every investor knows that the market never sleeps. But what if we want to rest?
This case shows how AIvestor handled itself in full autonomy during my vacation, when the system took control – and I could focus on something other than checking quotes.
The Event
- Before leaving for Masuria, I switched all system modules to full autonomy mode (Auto mode).
- For me, this meant symbolically “handing over the controls” – like a pilot gives control to autopilot on an airplane.
- During the trip, I didn’t check quotes, didn’t analyze news – I was offline.
System Response
A few days later, while sitting by the lake, I received an email notification:
- Stop Loss Triggered – Instrument Agent detected reaching the safety threshold.
- System automatically sold 20% of the position to limit risk.
- A few hours later, when the trend deepened, AIvestor closed the entire position.
- Every step was logged and documented.
This entire sequence happened without my involvement. I was taking pictures of the lake at the time.
Result
- Portfolio was protected from losses thanks to consistent strategy execution.
- Every decision was documented and explained.
- I could rest — the system worked for me.

Conclusions
This case shows the essence of the Investing Twin idea:
- Consistency – system operated according to rules, without emotions and momentary pressure.
- Autonomy – investing didn’t require my presence.
- Peace of mind – the most important result: I could rest, knowing decisions were being made.
AIvestor is not a black box. It’s a system that allows automating not only trading, but also… investor peace of mind. After all, who among us wouldn’t want to finally go on vacation without constantly checking quotes?
